Organic and Nature & Progrès: two labels, one philosophy
At Ti-Lipouz, all our fruit trees and shrubs are produced according to the specifications of Organic Farming (AB) and Nature & Progrès. These two labels are not mere certifications: they represent a deep commitment to the health of soils, plants, and human beings.
Nature & Progrès goes even further than the official AB label, with additional requirements regarding cultivation practices, biodiversity, and fair trade relations.
Trees produced 100% on site
Unlike many nurseries that buy their plants from wholesalers, all our trees are produced on our farm in Plévin (22), in central Brittany. This means:
- Total quality control from cutting or grafting to delivery
- Plants adapted to the oceanic climate of Brittany and Normandy
- Zero synthetic chemical treatments at any stage of production
- Complete traceability of each variety
Why is this important for your orchard?
More robust plants
Organically grown trees develop a denser and more balanced root system. Without chemical stimulants, their growth is slower but stronger. The result: better resistance to climatic stress and diseases once planted in your garden.
Living soils
Organic production preserves the microbial life of the soil. Our nurseries host remarkable biodiversity: beneficial insects, earthworms, mycorrhizal fungi... all allies that will benefit your trees after planting.
Ancient and rustic varieties
Our selection favors ancient and local varieties, naturally adapted to the terroirs of Brittany and Normandy. These varieties, selected over centuries, show a natural disease resistance far superior to modern commercial varieties.

Choosing organic fruit trees is also an economic choice in the long term. An orchard managed under organic or biodynamic farming:

Our daily commitment
Since the creation of Ti-Lipouz, we also train amateurs and professionals in natural fruit arboriculture. Our annual training cycle (4 days, one per season) teaches you all the basics: propagation, care, pruning, biotopes...
