Ingrid Almond – An almond-peach cross, suitable for regions with cold winters where classic almond varieties fail.

The Ingrid Almond is a Prunus Dulcis x Persica hybrid, specially selected for its cold hardiness and its ability to produce in regions where traditional varieties do not thrive.

Fruit Description: Sweet almond of medium size, with a thin shell. Flavorful, sweet, and slightly fragrant flesh. Taste quality comparable to the best Mediterranean almonds.

Use: Fresh or dried consumption. Ideal for baking, confectionery (pralines, marzipan), and direct consumption. Can also be processed into almond milk.

Harvest: August to September depending on climatic conditions. Fruits are harvested at full maturity.

Storage: Excellent storage after drying. Dried almonds can be stored for several months in a cool, dry place.

Pollination: Partially self-fertile variety. Production improved with a compatible pollinator.

Special Feature: Functional in cold regions where classic varieties do not produce. Very vigorous and disease-resistant. Promote a well-exposed, sunny location for optimal production.

Disease Resistance: Very good general resistance. A vigorous tree, not very susceptible to common diseases.

Sold as one-year-old bare-root saplings. 100% on-site production, AB and Nature & Progrès certified. Delivery January-March.
