The Caesarea is a fruit-bearing shrub that produces berries approximately 1.5 cm in diameter.

It is a species resulting from the cross between blackcurrant and gooseberry.

The taste of the berries is a subtle blend of acidity and sweetness.

The JOSTA variety is the second of the 3 varieties I offer, and the berries are ripe around mid-July.

The plant's growth is 2 to 3 times more vigorous than that of a blackcurrant bush. Allow 2 to 3 meters of spacing. The plant can also grow up to 2 meters tall.

1 year old bare root plant, 2 to 3 branches pruned to 25 cm.
