The Andega variety is particularly valued by herbalists for making herbal teas from its leaves. It is also a good late pollinator, compatible with Blackdown, Noir de Bourgogne, Géant de Boskoop, and Tradimel.
Its blackcurrant berries are rich in antioxidants, vitamin C, and polyphenols. Ideal for jams, juices, blackcurrant liqueurs, and fresh consumption.
