🍎 Fruit description
A large apple with a regular, rounded shape. The skin is smooth and thin, pale yellow to greenish-yellow, with a generous wash of bright, luminous red on the side exposed to the sun, hence its name "Fresh Complexion." The flesh is white, fine-grained, crisp, juicy, and fragrant. It has a well-balanced sweet and tart flavor that is refreshing and pleasant.
🥧 Usage
An excellent eating apple, perfect for fresh juice thanks to its very juicy flesh. Ideal for quality cider where it adds freshness and aroma. Also suitable for tarts, compotes, and fruit salads. A versatile fruit appreciated for its versatility.
📅 Harvest
September to October. Harvesting takes place when the fruit detaches easily from the tree. The harvest is generally regular and abundant.
🏺 Conservation
Keeps well for 2 to 3 months in a cool, well-ventilated cellar. Best enjoyed from October to December. The apple retains its freshness and crispness well.
🐝 Pollination
Self-sterile variety requiring a pollinator. Good pollinators: Reine des Reinettes, Belle de Boskoop, Jacques Lebel, Reinette Clochard. Mid-season flowering. Good productivity.
