🍎 Fruit description

A medium-sized apple, round and slightly flattened. The skin is thin, smooth, pale yellow to greenish-white, almost translucent when ripe, hence its name "Transparent." Sometimes slightly pink on the side exposed to the sun. The flesh is white, fine-grained, tender, very juicy, and fragrant. It has a sweet, mild flavor with a light, refreshing acidity.

🥧 Usage

An excellent eating apple, perfect for fresh juice thanks to its very juicy flesh. It's also ideal for compotes and tarts where it melts deliciously. Suitable for making light, sweet cider as well. Eat soon after harvesting to enjoy its freshness.

📅 Harvest

July to September depending on the region. A very early variety, one of the first apples of the year. Harvesting takes place when the fruit detaches easily. Harvest is staggered over several weeks.

🏺 Conservation

Short shelf life of 2 to 3 weeks maximum. Consume quickly after harvesting. This delicate fruit does not tolerate prolonged storage. Ideal for immediate consumption in summer.

Self-sterile variety requiring a pollinator. Good pollinators: Reine des Reinettes, Belle de Boskoop, Jacques Lebel. Early flowering. Good, consistent productivity.
