Prunier Perdrigon Blanc (White Perdrigon Plum) – An old French plum variety, particularly valued for drying and long-term storage.

Fruit Description: Medium-sized, oval-shaped plum. Delicate yellow skin beautifully dotted with white spots, turning red where kissed by the sun. Greenish, juicy, and flavorful flesh with a sweet and fragrant taste.

Use: Ideal variety for drying and prune production. Also excellent for jams, compotes, and fresh consumption. Its long shelf life makes it a prime choice for winter reserves.

Harvest: August to September, depending on climatic conditions.

Storage: Excellent storage capacity, especially after drying. Stores for several weeks in cold storage.

Pollination: Partially self-fertile variety. Production improved with cross-pollination.

Disease Resistance: Good general hardiness. Vigorous and low-maintenance tree.

History: An old variety from the French fruit heritage, cultivated for several centuries. Particularly appreciated in the Southwest for the production of traditional prunes.
